Marielle Abrezia

A young woman who suddenly appeared in Audon out of nowhere, dying from mysterious burns and major blood loss. Under the care of Doctor Alexander Leonards, she has always been under the hospital’s shelter since the incident, and while she has recovered physically, her injuries left her unable to recall anything from her past and unable to understand emotions.After a promise made with Dr Leonards, she’s lived with one rule in mind - to never use her Sixth Sense, which allows her to experience and alter memories. She’s understood this rule for years, and yet, her abilities urge at her, almost like it’s guiding her somewhere.

Haze Lienne

A forensics student at Audon University, taught by his estranged uncle-figure, Alexander. His ordinary life is overshadowed by his obsession with the Unknown, holding a firm belief that it’s where his missing parents are. As such, he formed an investigation team comprised of himself, his adoptive sister Rafaela, and their acquaintance Kalen.Despite his dedication to understanding the Unknown, he struggles to keep up with his peers as he lacks a Sixth Sense - to compensate for this, he secretly goes on solo expeditions to the Unknown, indifferent to its high risks.

Rafaela Zayann

A reputable criminal attorney who always wins her trials with nothing but sheer ingenuity. Although she has a Sixth Sense that allows her to spot lies and bring people to tell the truth, she refuses to use it in her trials unless absolutely necessary, with the logic that justice only has its name when dealt on equal grounds.When she was first notified of her adoptive parents' disappearance, she cut her time away for university short to take care of Haze, balancing their finances and keeping their mother's cafe in business by herself. She's protective of her brother, and ever since they discovered the Unknown, she makes sure that Haze maintains a balance between his ordinary life, and his involvement in cases revolving around the supernatural world.

Kalen Veils

A mysterious young man who, similar to Marielle, appeared in Audon out of nowhere. As if by fate, he meets Haze and Rafaela for the first time when they fell into the Unknown by accident, rescuing them and ensuring he stays distant from the two afterwards. However, following Haze's persistence, he now lives with the siblings at The Bridge and holds a full time job at The Artisans Cafe.Kalen is well-versed with the Unknown, teaching Haze and Rafaela how it works while keeping his deep-rooted connections with it confidential. His Sixth Sense allows him to find and manipulate presences, which he uses it to stay hidden, retrieve documents essential for cases, etc.

Alexander Leonards

A gruff and grounded doctor whose denial of the metaphysical is shattered after finding Marielle, dying from mysterious injuries in the middle of nowhere. Believing that she’s the key to finding his missing friends, Dayle and Naomi, he originally encouraged the use of Marielle’s abilities until a certain occurrence caused him to make her promise to never use it again, and to stay in the logic of reality.Some time before he found Marielle, Dayle and Naomi informed him about a case they were investigating, and while they didn’t get into specifics, they made him promise to take care of their children - Haze and Rafaela - in the event of an emergency. After Dayle and Naomi’s disappearance, Alexander cut ties with Haze and Rafaela, under the reasoning that they’ll be safe if they stay away from any links to this investigation - now including himself.
